Hi
*|FNAME|*,
Welcome to
our October newsletter.
We have see
some clients flourish in the current climate while others are
floundering. So how has business been for you? Have you adapted
and pivoted? Can you use technology to streamline your business
and help it get back on track?
One of the
things I most like about my business is being able to see behind
the scenes of other businesses, help them get the most out of
technology and then see then flourish.
If you would
like to use technology to improve your business give me a call
and we can start the discussion.
I'm also writing
this on Tuesday, the morning Microsoft experienced an outage of
their O365 / M365 services. Even though a lot of people state
that their particular service or offering has 100% uptime, I've
been in business long enough to know that is never the case. Every
service no matter from who it is from will have some sort of outage
or downtime. The main issue from my point of view is how long
the downtime is and how they communicate with their clients. If
outages like this cause a detrimental affect on your business
let me know as there are some services available that will allow
you to have access to email while the main service is down.
Until next
month, stay safe,
David Perkovic

Security
Tips |
Security
is one of the most important areas in the IT. It is also one of
the most overlooked areas, but if you lose all your data accidentally
or in a hacking attack what would you do and how much money would
it cost you?
This month
we will talk about hardware firewalls and how they protect your
business.
Hardware
Firewalls
A hardware
firewall should be part of every businesses approach to layered
security. Relying on just security software installed on each
of your computer, while being a great policy isn't enough in today's
world.
A hardware
firewall provides an extra layer of security that helps prevent
unwanted traffic entering and leaving your network.

client.
- setting
up the IT side of things at a newly built kindergarten.
- Troubleshooting
some large screen displays.

Two
monitors are becoming the norm now for most business users.
