Hello *|FNAME|*,

I hope you all had a great January and most of us will now be back in the swing of things.

We all use the internet in almost every aspect of our lives, so it’s important we know how to be safe online, understand the risks and know how to report online abuse. This is why we have joined the eSafety Commissioner on the 6 February to support Safer Internet Day – a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness of online safety.

We encourage you to get involved and take these three simple actions when approaching online safety: Connect. Reflect. Protect.

Connect – by keeping apps and devices secure and regularly reviewing privacy settings.

Reflect – on how your actions online may affect others or your own safety.

Protect – yourself and others by visiting by visiting eSafety.gov.au to find out how to stay safe online and report online abuse.

By sharing the Connect. Reflect. Protect. message, we can work towards making every day a Safer Internet Day. Visit eSafety.gov.au/sid to learn more.

This month (see below), we are discussing

  • why not to use old operating systems.
  • if you not not already with us, why you should look at changing IT providers!
  • 5 ways how to use the new AI, M365 CoPilot.
  • a list of the top data breaches in 2023 and how you can protect yourself.

Until next month, stay cyber safe,

Out and About

Here are some things we have been doing during January:

  • one of our Adelaide techs, Stefan, was working onsite for one of our clients in Perth!
  • we started a few new projects. The first involved installing Cisco routers and wireless access points. The other one involved setting up some Ubiquiti wireless access points and wireless bridges.
  • Neil in Sydney had some fun performing an audit and then doing an install for a client out at Oran Park.
  • Paul has been busy installing some new phone systems for a few clients.
The equipment for one of our jobs was nearly as tall as David!
Neil was busy auditing and also setting up a new franchise site at Oran Park in Sydney.

Some Ubiquiti UISP and Ubiquiti Unifi equipment for an install involving quite a number of wireless bridges and wireless access points.

The Grandstream phones Paul is installing for a client. We are now selling and installing new phone systems. If you would like a quote please let me know.
