Hi *|FNAME|*,

Christmas seems so long ago now, work for us slowed a bit over the Christmas / New Year period but has now gotten back into the swing of things. I hope things are going well for you and your business.

One of the things I truly love about my job is visiting clients and seeing behind the scenes of their businesses and locations. The majority of our clients are in and around the Adelaide area but we also have clients in Sydney, Perth and the Northern Territory. Last month 3 of our techs had the great opportunity to visit two clients in the Northern Territory (see details below).

I was talking to a client the other day, and they asked me a great question on what the business technology trends would be for this year. I think there are two main areas that will see continued growth:

Security: Sorry to keep banging the drum about this one, but it is truly horrifying how cyber-security attacks increased last year. Without any doubt, this is going to continue to accelerate this year.

Flexibility: Last year taught everyone how important it is to be able to access any data from anywhere, on any device - that will continue this year. There are so many things in technology that can make a business more flexible. Contact us for more details.

I’d always love to talk about your business and if you would like to catch up please let me know.

Cheers,
David Perkovic - [email protected]

Security Tips

Security is one of the most important areas in IT. It is also one of the most overlooked areas, but if you lose all your data accidentally or in a hacking attack what would you do and how much money would it cost you?

Security will be at the forefront of news articles in 2021 with more and more successful attacks against businesses, large and small. There is no such thing as being too small - all businesses are a target!

As such, every business must now treat cyber-security with the same level importance as the physical security of their buildings.

Too many businesses still do the digital equivalent of leaving their doors and windows open. Contact us now before it is too late to help close those cyber doors and windows.

Out and About

As mentioned above David, Ben and Sean visited our clients, Erldunda Roadhouse and Kings Creek Station in the Northern Territory last month. While at Erldunda Roadhouse we upgraded their wireless network and performed an IT audit at Kings Creek Station. They luckily had some free time and managed to visit Kings Canyon, Uluru (Ayres Rock) and Kata Tjuta (The Olgas).
